Description

In some situations, users can abuse the fact that Jira does not restrict the number of attachments they can upload to an issue, causing a lot of storage space to be used.

It would be nice to have options to:

• Restrict the number of attachments per issue.
• Restrict the total amount of storage space that can be used by attachments, per project.

Workaround

The third-party app AMJ - Attachments Manager for Jira by Infosysta implements some of these features.
