      Hi everyone,

      This issue has been reviewed by the Jira Data Center Development team. As a result of our investigation, we have decided to freeze our work on this issue.

      The problem itself is not a bug, just normal html iframe behaviour and any attempt to change it may result in significant performance impact. That's why we’re closing the ticket with the resolution Won't fix.

      We realize our decision may be disappointing, and we will continue to monitor this issue for further updates. Please continue to share your thoughts in the comments. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

      Issue Summary

      On the dashboard page hidden element receives keyboard focus.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Navigate to dashboard page.
      2. Navigate through the gadgets on the page with keyboard.
      3. press tab on "more button" in "Wallboard gadget"
      4. observe that a hidden element receives focus & then "Maximise" button in "Introduction" gadget receives focus.

      Actual Results

      While navigating with keyboard on the dashboard, when user press tab on "more button" in "Wallboard gadget" a hidden element receives focus & then "Maximise" button in "Introduction" gadget receives focus.

      This makes keyboard & low-vision users tab pass through hidden content inappropriately.

      Note: This issue seems to be applicable for all the gadgets which are wrapped inside an iframe

      Expected Results

      Hidden content should not receive keyboard focus & they need to be hidden completely from keyboard & screen reader users.

      When user press tab on "more button" in "Wallboard gadget" then "Maximise" button in "Introduction" gadget should receives focus.

      Workaround

      Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
