    XMLWordPrintable

Description

    Issue Summary

The color contrast of the border of form field is not meeting the minimum color contrast ratio i.e. 3:1.

Note: This issue has also been observed on "View an Issue" page.

    Steps to Reproduce

    1. Navigate to the "Projects" dropdown present in the header section.
    2. Navigate to the "View all projects" option and select it.
    3. Observe that "View all projects' page has been appeared on the page.
    4. Navigate to the "Edit Profile" and "Update user preferences" buttons and activate it.
    5. Use any color contrast testing tool to check the color contrast.
    6. Observe that the color contrast between the input border and the adjacent color is insufficient.

    Actual Results

The "Full name", "Email", "Password", and so on input fields with foreground #DEE1E5 color have color contrast ratio of 1.3:1 with #FFFEFF background color.

This will make it difficult for people with low vision and color blindness to distinguish the form controls that have insufficient contrast.

    Expected Results

Ensure that the color contrast for the foreground color of the borders of all form fields is 3:1 with the background color.

    Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
