By default, Jira adds the last added value at the end of the list of custom field options. The only way to sort options is to do it via manually clicking the "Sort options alphabetically" button while adding the value in "Edit Options" at the moment.

We would like to have automatic sorting of custom field options alphabetically when a new option is added without the need to manually click the "Sort options alphabetically" button.
