      In the page Improving instance stability with rate limiting there are no mentions to ignoring UI requests, which might cause some confusion.

      There is a KB that describes how rate limiting identifies UI requests, which can either be used as a reference or linked in the documentation: Jira rate limiting is not working due to cookies/headers in the requests
