Dashboard gadgets not listing custom fields in the drop down with duplicate names

Problem

When custom fields are created with same names as System fields in Jira instance, the Gadget(Pie Chart, Issue Statistics or Two Dimensional Field Statistics) does not display the Custom field while searching for them using .

Environment

8.x onwards

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a custom field with name Team as Select List (multiple choices).
2. Navigate to Dashboard, and add the Two-dimensional or pie chart gadget in our dashboard.
3. In the Pie chart dashboard ,search for the custom field Team under Statistic Type.
4. The search results by default displays only the System field while the custom field is ignored.

Expected Results

The Search should display both the system and the Custom field.

Actual Results

The search is displaying only the System field.

Workaround

The workaround is to scroll down through the drop down and find the Custom field manually. For Pie chart gadget If the Custom fields are more then there is no workaround available as there is no scroll down bar available.
