Today, you can change the number from 50 issues in a page, but you can only due this globally. Under Default user preferences where you can change Issues per page with a value of between 1 and 1000, but it will reflect for all users.

I would like to have the option to choose my own number of issues, per user.

This suggestion has been made by many other users like https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-69460 but it has been rejected. This is an another attempt to get attention from product team !!
