Performing REST API endpoint does not return string translated

Issue Summary

Performing the Get create meta issue meta fields  does not return translated string even with the language set in Jira.

If the Jira language is not English, the fields in the current language are returned, but for linked issues, only part one of the fields (get only the “Linked Issues” in the current language). The "linked field" is translated, however the next field "Issue" still remains in English.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Set the language to a different one than English, e.g. Italian.
2. Perform the /rest/api/2/issue/createmeta/${projectId}/issuetypes/${issueTypeId} REST API.
3. Verify the fields "Linked Issues" and "Issue" to see if they're translated.

Expected Results

The strings are translated.

Actual Results

Issue field string is not translated.

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
