      Problem

      When calling JQL queries with autocomplete  feature , jqlAutoComplete at /rest/querycomponent/latest/jqlAutoComplete is responding with an HTTP Content-Type header of text/html instead of application/json

      Suggested Solution

      Content-Type should be application/json

      Why This Is Important

      Request Via Load Balancer, Proxy that uses WAF on the HTML breaks the JSON causing Jira to Respond with malformed JSON.

      Workaround

      Currently no workaround is available
