Issue Summary

Whenever using the Jira’s Project Import feature to import a project from a backup file, the archived issues are imported as unarchived in the target instance, the Jira Project Import handler might be not importing the correct value for the “ARCHIVED” column in the target instance.

Steps to Reproduce

1. In Jira source, create some issues in the project with key “TP”, and have some issues as archived.

1. Generate the backup file of Jira source.

1. Open the Jira target and import the project “TP”

1. Notice if the previous archived issues are still in the same status.

Both Jira source and target are Datacenter (single node) with version 9.3.0.

Expected Results

Issues that were archived should remain as archived after importing.

Actual Results

The issues that were archived returned as not archived.

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
