The portlet "Assigned to me" has the following description: "Shows the issues assigned to the current user."

This is misleading. This portlet only shows open issues assigned to me, not all issues assigned to me. for example, issues with a status of "resolved " are not shown.

This causes a problem because an issue reporter/tester will not know when an issue has been fixed (and is thus in the resolved state) and needs to be verified before being closed.

This might be considered a duplicate of http://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-2443, but the "solution" in 2443 was lame.

The request for this bug is to either (1) change the text of the portlet so it is clear that only open items are shown, or (preferably) (2) modify the portlet so that all issues assigned to me are displayed.
