Description
Issue Summary
The element is not accessible by keyboard alone and there is no conforming accessible version of the same functionality reachable from the non-conforming page.
Element name :
- Project
- Key
- Project type
- Project lead
- Project category
Location: Located at the column headers of the data table.
Steps to Reproduce
- In the Jira dashboard, Navigate to the "Project " menu link in the header section.
- Activate the "Project" dropdown in the header section.
- Navigate to the left navigation section and activate "All project types".
- Navigate to the data table which is present in the main content area.
Actual Results
When the user navigates to the data table with the keyboard, the column headers "Project, "Key", "Project type" etc, for the data are not accessible by the keyboard. This made it difficult for keyboard-only users to access the functionality associated with the element.
Expected Results
Ensure that all interactive elements are keyboard accessible.
Use tabindex="0" to add an element that does not normally receive focus, such as <th>, into the navigation order when it is being used for interaction. Use scripting to capture and respond to keyboard events.
