XMLWordPrintable

      Issue Description

Screen reader does not render anything in calender component which is present in "Create issue" modal dialog. Missing keyboard support when user navigates in calender component via screen reader.

      URL to the Page

      https://instenv-7446-rwl3.instenv.internal.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa

      STR

      1. Launch URL https://instenv-7446-rwl3.instenv.internal.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa
      2. Turn on screen reader and activate "Create" link from header region.
      3. Navigate in "Create issue" modal dialog until you get calender component. Try to navigate in this calender component with up/down and left/right keys.

      Actual Behaviour

When screen reader users try to navigate in calender component with up/down keys and left/right keys or Tab key, it is not responding i.e this calender component is inaccessible for screen reader users.

      Expected Behaviour

Screen reader user should be able to access this calender widget with keyboard keys such as up/down and right/left. Moreover when user selects a date from this calender widget and it gets added to input field of calender, that selected date should be announced by screen reader i.e the confirmation of date.
