Issue Description

The "X" i.e close button which becomes available in issue details window when user activates "issue-key" link is not accessible with keyboard. Moreover this "close" element is coded inappropriately. The "issue-key" becomes available in "Backlog" page, "Kanban Board" page and "Active Sprints" page (available only on "Scrum" Board).

STR

1. Navigate to "Backlog" link present in left navigation menu and activate it.
2. Navigate to issue-key link present in main content area for eg: "JAC-1" and activate it. Observe issue details window gets added on page.
3. Try to navigate to "X" i.e "Close" button with keyboard Tab key.
4. Similary, navigate to "Active Sprints" link (available on scrum board) present in left navigation menu and activate it and follow Step 3 and Step 4.
5. Navigate to "Kanban Board" page and activate it. Follow Step 3 and Step 4.

Actual Behaviour

For screen reader and keyboard only user’s it is not possible to activate the "X" i.e "close" button present in issue details window with keyboard Tab key. The "X" close element is not receiving focus and coded inappropriately due to which functionality associated with it is inaccessible for screen reader and keyboard only users.

Expected Behaviour

The "X" i.e close element should receive focus with keyboard "Tab" key and this button should be activated with Space bar/Enter key. Provide role="button" in the span element which consists this "X" (close) element with tabindex="0" to make the button focusable and part of the page's tab order.

Modify the scripts to ensure that the button is accessible with a keyboard as well as a mouse to make the functionality accessible for keyboard-only and screen reader users. Ensure that all the page functionality is available for all users irrespective of the device being used.
