When using tables in comments in a Jira issue, the controls for the table will sit above the very top row of the table making it difficult to have a clear view of the table if you're using the top row of the table as headers. This has only changed recently, as in previous versions (at least 8.13) the table controls would be placed at the very bottom of the table which is preferable.
