    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

Current Jira does not have a way of natively limit the number of sessions that users are allowed to create. Considering a security standpoint, it would be great if Jira System Administrators were able to use a feature in the application to limit these sessions.

[JRASERVER-73049] Allow administrators to limit the number of concurrent user sessions

This add-on allows only 1 active session per user:

            Hello,

We would like to control if a second session is opened in another browser and be able to close the previous one if we see it fit.

How can the number of concurrent user sessions be calculated, particularly for Jira Data Center?

And do you mean "how many sessions a single user can create" or "what is the total number of user sessions currently active in each node"?
