      Problem Definition

      In Jira 8.6, we have added REST API endpoint to allow workflow scheme creation but there's no REST API endpoint to create workflow itself. This makes is difficult for users who would like to fully automate project related configuration.

      Suggested Solution

      Add REST API endpoint to allow users to create workflow through REST API.

      Workaround

      None. Users will have to create workflow in Jira from UI.
