At the moment, if you created a Checkbox Custom Field and include in your Issue View Screen, you won't be able to see the Checkboxes; instead you will see a Text List which contains the values that have been selected separated by comma.

Suggestion:
Instead of showing the Text List, it will be better and easier for users if the Checkboxes are shown in the screen by default.
