Description
Issue Summary
When the screen reader is switched on, the contents in the selection lists of the "Export" and "Tools" buttons cannot be selected.
Steps to Reproduce
Environment
JAWS 2021
Chrome Browser 92.0.4515.107
Windows 10
- Access https://jira.atlassian.com for the test;
- Execute a search, for instance:
https://jira.atlassian.com/issues/?jql=project%20in%20(%22Jira%20Server%20and%20Data%20Center%22%2C%22Jira%20Software%20Server%20and%20Data%20Center%22)%20and%20text%20~%20%22accessibility%20export%20reader%22 - Use the <tab> until reach the "Export" option;
- You will hear:
Export button Menu
- Press <Enter>
- You will hear:
Expanded
- The list of options will be presented
Expected Results
Using Arrows Up/Down would navigate the options
Actual Results
Arrows Up/Down or Tab are moving to other options on the page and are not navigating the menu options
Workaround
Option 1 - Using Mac Device with MacOS VoiceOver - Screen reader
Environment:

Steps:
- Open Chrome and go to Issue Navigator, run the following JQL search below:
https://jira.atlassian.com/issues/?jql=project%20in%20(%22Jira%20Server%20and%20Data%20Center%22%2C%22Jira%20Software%20Server%20and%20Data%20Center%22)%20and%20text%20~%20%22accessibility%20export%20reader%22
- Use the <tab> until reach the "Export" option;
- You will hear:
Export Button
You are currently on a button.
To click this button, press Control - Option - Space - Pressing Control - Option - Space expands the menu options
- Using the Arrows Down / Arrows Up, you can navigate the options and hear, for instance, for the first option "Printable":
Printable Menu Item
You are currently on a menu item.
To choose this menu item, press control - option - space.
To close this menu, press Escape
