Issue Summary

When trying to use another Jira URL and comment an issue using markup syntax in visual mode the link gets broken and doesn't work, seems like the link "disappears".

Steps to Reproduce

1. Installed a fresh Jira instance on version 8.9.0 (also 8.10, 8.16.1, and 8.17 for troubleshooting purposes)
2. Created a project with two issues, Issue 1 and issue 2.
3. Opened Issue 2 and copy the Issue URL from the browser.
4. Opened Issue 1 and comment on the issue using visual mode adding the URL using markup syntax [text|url].
5. Transitioned to text mode and returned to visual mode and then saving the comment.
6. These steps were reproduced on Firefox and Google Chrome.

Also

1. Opened Issue 2 and copy the Issue URL from the browser.
2. Opened Issue 1 and comment on the issue using text mode adding the URL using markup syntax [text|url].
3. Transitioned to visual mode and added some more text and returned to text mode and then saving the comment.
4. These steps were reproduced on Firefox and Google Chrome.

Expected Results

Using markup syntax, the URL shouldn't get broken or disappear.

Actual Results

When transitioning between Visual mode and Text Mode after using adding the URL using markup syntax, the URL disappears after saving the comment.

Workaround

Instead of using Visual mode to add a link using markup syntax, performing it from Text Mode and add the any other necessary text to the comment before transition to the visual mode save the comment.
