      Problem

Currently, we can run a cron job at the OS level to delete attachments that uploaded to Jira a year or two years ago to save space for our ever-growing Jira home directory. However, there is no function in the UI to allow us to easily delete the old unused attachments.

      Suggestion

As a Jira admin, we would really love to have the function in the Jira UI to allow us to click on the button to delete all the old attachments we no longer need.

      Workaround

Use the following plugin or run a script as a cron job at the OS level to delete the old attachments.
