Issue Summary

The current attachments directory is hardcoded, this is a limitation for many customers.

It would be nice to have a feature that allows to archive Jira attachments while they remain accessible when accessing an issue.

Workaround

• What Jira allows is to archive attachments which are no longer required by moving them out, but JIRA application will throw an error if an attempt is made to access the attachments which are archived out.

• Change the location of attachments and then create a symbolic link on Jira Server.
