Description
We observed that Jira has the option of advanced properties that can control the number of comments that got collapsed with the parameter "jira.comment.collapsing.minimum.hidden". However, this parameter lets us control the number of comments that collapse, but not the number of comments that are shown after they are collapsed.
Making some tests, we believe that the amount of issues that are shown after the comments are collapsed is 5, without change with different numbers in the "jira.comment.collapsing.minimum.hidden". parameter.
The only option for showing more than the last 5 comments is that we disable the feature of the collapsing, or that we set the number of collapsing so high that may not work for some cases.
With that said, I would like to suggest the creating of a parameter or an option in Jira to control the number of comments shown before collapsing them.
