Issue Summary

Whenever you are selecting FIx Version/s and Affects Version/s if the release name is too long and there are several similar names, Jira will not display the entire name or display a tooltip with the complete name, so the user can distinguish between the different options.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create several releases with a long name (in this case we used 60 characters long).
2. Include both the Affects Version/s and Fix Version/s fields in the View and Edit Screens associated with your project's issues.
3. Try to select one of the options using inline editing or through the Edit Issue Screen.

Expected Results

• The entire name of the release will be displayed.

Actual Results

• The name of the release is only partially displayed and a tooltip is not provided as well, so users have no way of distinguishing between the different options.

Workaround

Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.

• Suggested Solution:

• A definitive solution would be for the field to auto-adjust itself depending on the size of the options.
• Also, a tooltip could be displayed when mousing over the options.
