ii would like  to either have this widget updated to select in the dropdown menu  'status' or to have a new  widget created similiar  but by status.

 

my teams  once  an issue is created can spend sometime discussing the issue which is not  a true account of  time for our metrics  

 

pulling by status gives us a truer metrics  as it can track by in progress ( a common status  across jira) to done,  in progress for us is when the work truly begins
