      We are glad to announce that as a part of the improvements being done in JRASERVER-7266 , the issue was addressed. See related ticket for additional details.

      With the current workaround to edit email templates, it is required to restart the Jira instance. Unfortunately, that causes a lot of pain, and ideally editing email templates shouldn't influence Jira outage.
