Opening a link on Mobile does not redirect to the Jira Mobile App

      Issue Summary

      When using your mobile device and accessing a Jira link, it should automatically open in the Jira Mobile browser instead of the web browser. 

      Expected Results

      The mobile device provides the option to open the link up in the Jira Mobile App. 

      Steps to Reproduce

      Open a Jira link on the mobile app. 

      Actual Results

      The mobile device opens the link in a new browser window. 

      Workaround

      Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.

            This still seems to be an issue. Not sure why but it would be highly appreciated, if this could be fixed.

            I’m surprised this has been open for more than a year and a half and its still not fixed/implemented.  I’d say this is a bug as I can’t understand why you would roll out a mobile application but have links open in a web browser. Makes 0 sense.

            I would say it is considered a de facto standard to have the choice of opening app-related links directly in the app. Not having this makes the user experience seen as confusing and not as smooth as it should be for our users. As for now, we consider not using the app or another third-party app until this is resolved.

            It´s not a bug - it was never implemented. Needs further investigation to implement

            I would say this is pretty major—it makes the app pretty unusable for me.
