Using function 'membersOf' throws error when using 'assignee was in' clause, likely due to inactive users. Although the JQL function does usually give results with active users and "WAS IN" keyword, these keywords are not supported to use with this function and there is no guarantee that it will work properly.

Applying the JQL query returns the following error:
