Description

The following waning found in the atlassian-jira.log file:

2020-09-13 09:17:49,104+0000 https-jsse-nio-8443-exec-25 WARN anonymous /rest/api/2/issue/XXX-####.[c.a.r.internal.settings.RateLimitModificationSettingsService] No RL settings found for user: [username] - can't delete!!

Integration with third party plugin may trigger the warning during the user synchronisation. It appears that this logging is a symptom rather than the root cause. It is a part of clean-up exercise/maintenance issue so it is harmless.

Workaround

Set the "com.atlassian.ratelimiting" package to ERROR to prevent the stack trace from spamming the logs.

Suggestion

Change the code to log at DEBUG level
