Description
Issue Summary
The help text on the "Add SMTP Mail Server" page is confusing for some users. The help text suggests port 465 for SMTPS, while the majority of mail providers at this time are using 587 with STARTTLS for outgoing mail. Port 465 should not be used in most contexts - reference: https://www.mailgun.com/blog/which-smtp-port-understanding-ports-25-465-587/
Quick fix
Change the SMTP Port help text from
Optional - SMTP port number to use. Leave blank for default (defaults: SMTP - 25, SMTPS - 465).
to
Optional - SMTP port number to use. Enter 587 and select the TLS checkbox below for STARTTLS. Leave blank for default (defaults: SMTP - 25, SMTPS - 465).
Longer fix
Change the layout of the page to suggest STARTTLS as the secure option to use instead of SMTPS. Potentially add this as an option in the Protocol dropdown (which would remove the TLS checkbox)
