JQL parser does not allow picking up custom field options that starts with a capital I with a dot (\u0130)

      Issue Summary

      If you have a custom field with custom value options that contain Turkish character İ, JQL parser won't allow you to search for it:


      This used to work fine in 7.0, but not in 7.13 or 8.x.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a custom field with options containing İ
      2. Try picking it up for JQL search

      Expected Results

      Able to search.

      Actual Results

      Unable to search - JQL parser invalidates the query because it things this option does not exist.

      Workaround

      Currently the only workaround is to avoid using Turkish characters in Jira.
