Currently, there is the capability of allowing public sign up or manual entry (LDAP sync) to establish Service Desk customers. There is no option to restrict signing up to specific to certain domains, by whitelisting a limited number of domains or blocking domains (like gmail or yahoo) to prevent certain people from becoming customers.
