A feature that is dearly missing from Jira currently for our team's workflow is the ability to edit the filter for the avatar.

Right now it's hard-coded to search only for user selected.

In our team's workflow, for each task or bug, we have both assignee (owner) and tester, testers are self-assigned when the task/bug reach "To Test" status.

With the feature suggested, when doing daily and weekly standup status meetings, we would be able to filter for each person all the tasks he owns, and for testers, tasks they own and tasks they are assigned as testers.

Obviously even more will be possible once this feature is implemented.
