Documentation in updating the Cloud Formation Template of already running stack.

      Problem Definition

      At the moment, the Cloud Formation Template will be periodically updated but while the template is updated on Github/Bitbucket site, it would not be reflected the already running stack that was deployed using an older template. This means that if there is any improvement or changes made in the new template, it would not affect those stacks.

      Suggested Solution

      To have proper documentation on the steps to update those templates in which at the moment would be to deploy the new template and migrate the data from the previous template to the new one.

      Why this is important

      The user would not understand this until they are not able to successfully update their template due to some changes over the Github/Bitbucket side. Also, when the template does not behave as expected after updating its values.
