When using Jira Cloud, we can easily click at the status drop-down and select the desired status.
However, when using Jira Server, we do need to edit the issue and click at the buttons to change the status or if using the side view, execute multiple actions until reach the option to change the status.

• Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open a Project backlog board
  2. Click on an issue to open it at the side view
  3. Click the 3-dots
  4. Select "More Actions"
  5. Click the dropdown arrow to expand the options at the Operations field
  6. Select the status

Expected Results

Just a single click to transition the issue to another status

Actual Results

Multiple actions required from Customer to transition the status of an issue.

Workaround

Edit the issue and click at the button to transition the issue to another status.
