      Problem Definition

      Following error message was reported for users regardless of their status in Jira set to "Inactive" or does not have any access to Jira applications like "jira-software-users", "jira-servicedesk-users", "jira-core-users"

      Sorry, your username and password are incorrect - please try again.

       

      Suggested Solution

      Display error message like the following:

      Username set to Inactive, please contact Jira Administrator.

      Username does not have the required permission to access the Jira application.
