Problem Definition

When web links are added to the Application Navigator in Jira (or any other Atlassian product) and Application Links to another product are created, those links will be shared across the two products. This may create duplicates in the Application Navigator if the links only differ in trailing slash.

Suggested Solution

While comparing links to display in the menu, the Application Navigator should ignore the trailing slash.

Workaround

• Delete the links and re-create them without a trailing slash.
• Make it a practice to never include the trailing slash when creating the Application Links or adding links to the Application Navigator.
