Problem Definition

For a sprint created in Board A to be visible in another Board B, there needs to be at least one issue in the sprint which respects the filter configured in Board B.

If the sprint is empty, it will only show in the Board where it was created, but not the other boards.

This behavior can be an issue when there are a lot of teams and a lot of stories and teams need to work on their own board. It would be nice to have empty sprints available in all backlogs so that the teams can plan their stories.

Suggested Solution

Add a new setting in JIRA to allow empty sprints to be visible in any board.
