      Atlassian Update – 04 Sep 2019

      Hi everyone,

We have recently reviewed this issue and the overall interest in the problem. It's been a couple of months since it was first noticed in Jira 8. During this time, it hasn't collected votes, watchers, comments, or support cases from many customers. Because of this and also due to the minor severity of it, it is very low on our priority list and we will not fix it n the foreseeable future. That's why we've decided to resolve it as Won't Fix.

Although we're aware the issue is still important to those of you who were involved in the conversations around it, we want to be clear in managing your expectations regarding the likelihood of a fix for it anytime soon. The Jira team do their best to prioritise the issues that have high and critical impact with broad pervasiveness reflected in series of different factors. You can learn more about this by reading our Bug Fixing Policy.

To see what the Jira team is currently working on and has recently delivered see the following dashboards:

We understand that hearing a decision like this can be disappointing, but we hope you'll appreciate our transparent approach to product priorities and communications. We will continue to watch this issue for further updates, so please feel free to share any thoughts in the comments.

      Thank you,

When adding an event in Confluence Team Calendar, the custom date fields in JIRA are not showing.

      Environment

      JIRA 8.0 onwards
      Confluence 6.12.2

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Have an application link between JIRA and Confluence and ensure that the OAuth token is generated in both apps.
      2. Create a custom date picker field in JIRA and add it in a screen.
      3. Create an issue in JIRA and fill up values in the custom date picker field from Step 2.
      4. Navigate to Confluence's Team calendar and left click on any date.
      5. Select the JIRA project where the custom date picker field is configured

      Expected Results

The custom date picket field should show on the fields section

      Actual Results

      Notes

It used to work in JIRA 7.9.2 but not in JIRA 8 onwards.
