Problem Definition
Often when integrating Jira with other remote applications or services using webhook, there is a requirement from the remote application to provide certain headers e.g. csrf protection tokens for security or authentication purposes. Jira webhooks provides no way to send custom headers.
Suggested Solution
Provide a way to supply custom header and value in the webhook callback configuration, similar to the feature provided in Jira Service Desk automation webhooks.
Workaround
If your integration is with a Jira Service Desk project, you might be able to send your webhooks using a SD automation rule instead, this allows sending custom headers in the POST request.
