Summary

We would like a feature for notifications to be sent to a specific group during a field event. For example, if a priority of a task is changed, we would like only for the group 'Admin' to be able to receive those notification.

Instead of grouping it all in the 'Issue Updated' event, we would like a feature for us to select a field, field event and group that we would like the notifications to be sent to.

As for now, the workaround is to achieve this is you will need to write a custom event listener as described in this documentation or alternatively, you can try out a third-party add on : Enterprise Email Handler for Jira (JEMH) and ScriptRunner for Jira that might be helpful in this situation.
