When a customer writes a long comment I will copy that text into a new comment and then surround my comment in brackets to denote my response.

When I am writing the comment the  icon appears correctly, but when I save the comment it shows:

{{*

{(/) done}

* }}

where the checkmark icon does not render as an icon image and stays as text.

When I edit the comment and a space before the text that should render as an icon and then save the comment again then the text renders as the appropriate icon.

 

I expected to not need to separate the text that should render as an icon by spaces.

 

I tried to add as a bug, but it gave me an error that said that I do not have assign privileges.
