When a user is deleted/deactivated in LDAP, JIRA should keep the user in JIRA as an inactive user

    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

Currently, for "LDAP" or "Internal with LDAP Authentication" directories, when user is:

      • deleted
      • disabled/deactivated
      • removed from Jira-software-license-granting-group

in the directory, in Jira user remains active and consuming license. For LDAP Authentication case the status will not be synced ever since user will never-ever login after being deleted/disabled, for LDAP directory the status of user is not being synced.

[JRASERVER-68027] When a user is deleted/deactivated in LDAP, JIRA should keep the user in JIRA as an inactive user
