Summary

When switching the default language to Dutch, some default workflows generated by JIRA don't load from Project Settings > Workflows, although they load properly from ⚙ > Issues > Workflows.

Steps to reproduce

• Go to ⚙ > System > Edit Settings
• Change the language to "Nederlands"
• Save the change
• Create a Core project
• Go to Project Settings > Workflows
• Click on the Default workflow (for example "Project Management Workflow")
• Create a Service Desk project
• Go to Project Settings > Workflows
• Click on the Service Desk Default workflow (for example "JIRA Service Desk default workflow")

Expected behavior:

The workflow should load.

Observed behavior

The page does not load and spins forever. In the console, we can see the following error:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property '1' of null

Workaround

Open the workflow from ⚙ > Issues > Workflow instead, or switch the default language to English

This issue does not impact all the workflows. For example, some Service Desk workflows automatically created when creating a Service Desk project can be loaded such as "Change Management Workflow for Service Desk":
