      At the time of creating a Release in Jira, can we make release start date and end date Mandatory?

       

      It will help us at the time of reporting.

            As mentionned by German Rojas Tapia, all fields need to be mandatory , and if it is not possible to do it faster, put start date and release date mandatory ( check Atlassian message from 16 October 2023 with proposal )

            The usage of the Jira Road Map Gadget is useless without one of the two fields being present.  There are some powerful features that simply fail to function without having data present.

            I strongly support what appears to be a trivial change.

            I support this feature as well.  For our use case, we need to be able to make this field mandatory, & remove the word "optional" from the screen.
