Summary
Unable to stop watching the issue after adding a comment via a screen on the issue. The user will be a watcher if we enable Autowatch own issues at User Default Settings after commenting on the issue.
- We are able to remove the user after creating an issue from the watcher list.
- We are able to remove the user after adding a comment.
- We are not able to remove the user if the user transition the issue and a comment (there is a screen associated to the transition) from the watcher list.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create an issue.
- Remove the user from the watcher list.
- Transition the issue to any status that has a screen tied to the transition and add a comment using the screen.
- Click on Stop watching this issue.
- Refresh the page and the user will be still the watcher.
Expected Results
The user to be removed from the watcher list.
Actual Results
The user is not being removed from the watcher list. For reference; https://www.screencast.com/t/clldbGH1q.
Workaround
- To send a POST request before the DELETE request - this means we have to click on the watcher button 3 times for it to send DELETE - POST - DELETE request; please refer to the end of the video recording; https://www.screencast.com/t/clldbGH1q.
OR - We can disable the Autowatch own issues.
