      As a Jira Admin, I'd like that Jira can come with JavaMelody support natively

      Configuring Jira via JNDI connector is currently not supported, hence it will be great to have this option

            • We have been using JavaMelody for quite a while and find it to be an outstanding tool!  Please provide JavaMelody support natively at least for JIRA (and ideally for all Atlassian applications). 
            • I think it would be essential that a JIRA JavaMelody implementation also include support for the SQL option via JNDI datasource.  This would provide visibility into Jira database activity since there are no database monitoring tools like DPA for Postgres.
            • I was not able to attach a file showing our $DATA/dbconfig.xml and $APPS/server.xml file configurations.   See: https://github.com/javamelody/javamelody/issues/758
