    Description

It would be a great help with handling mail volumes if notifications included source reason (assignee, watcher, reporter, ...?) that could be used to prioritise incoming mail.

Specifically, I would want to any notification for which I am the issue assignee - and possibly reporter -  to my main mailbox (and thus, to my phone) and the rest to a folder for review at my time of choosing.

I get added as a watcher to a lot of issues.  I want to scan most of this stuff but don't want to be interrupted for it.  Currently, I send it to all to a folder and waylay important stuff.

This could be done by sending multiple versions of the email which could be messy.  More simply, the email could just have a footer line like "Assignee: jbirch; Reporter:asmith" that could be used by a mail rule.  That's an easy 98% fix.   (If that's considered a security risk, use hash of the username or the internal Jira user number or something else persistent.)
