Summary

As covered in the Bug Report:

"Change Transition 'Submit' Button" KB article is not relevant or useable past Jira 5.0, and needs to be pulled down.
 

Environment

Jira Server and Cloud

Steps to Reproduce:

• Following the KB article
  (Note: You must add a screen to the transition: Mapping a Screen to a Workflow Transition)
  • g+g > Workflows
  • Locate the Workflow to modify and click on Edit
  • Click on the link for the Transition you wish to Edit 
  • Click View Properties button
    • To Inherit the Name of the Transition:
      • Delete the jira.i18n.submit key
    • To Customize the "Submit" button:
      • Specify the Property key of jira.i18n.submit
      • Specify custom value to Property Value**
      • Click Add

Expected Results

Submit button would be changed based on key/value pair.

Actual Results

Submit button is not changed from transition name or to supplied key/value pair As covered in the BUG report no longer works after Jira 5.0

Notes

Tested on versions 7.4, 7.6, 7.8, and 7.9.

Workaround

Change the transition name instead of the key/value pair.
