Summary
Currently, according to our KB in Tabs Don't Show up on View Issue Screen in JIRA, it states that the following conditions must be met for a custom field to be displayed on a secondary tab:
- All of the tabs have custom fields on them (including the default Field Tab).
- At least one of those custom field types must not be a Date or People type (as those will show up in their respective sections in the view issue screen).
- At least one of those custom fields must have a value.
The condition for all tabs to have at least one custom field in order for the custom field to show correctly on the tab may not fit into an organization's business case.
Suggestion
Ensure that the custom fields can appear on secondary tabs even when condition #1 or #2 are not met.
